This one, for instance is called “Fruit Ninja” and is all about slicing fruit with your ninja sword. Ok, I can see how that would be entertaining, but the trailer doesn’t make me want to play the game. It makes me want to go “WTF!?”

Today was an interesting day to say the least. It started out this morning with my weekly release schedule of games, of which Splinter Cell: Conviction was the highlight. Next I reported on Microsoft finally changing their Microsoft Points system to something NOT retarded. And lastly, and most importantly, Jason West and Vince Zampella, formerly of Infinity Ward and two of the creative minds behind Modern Warfare 2, announced the creation of their new company, Respawn Studios.

I don’t know if you’re as excited about this as I am, but you can read the whole article over at my Examiner page. Basically, the two of them created their new studio and signed an exclusive deal with EA for distribution. Here’s where it gets fun. Activision comes out an hour or so after their announcement with a statement of their own. Activision’s statement said that they aren’t surprised that West and Zampella signed exclusively with EA because that’s who they were allegedly bringing confidential info to while still under contract at Infinity Ward (subsidiary of Activision, in case you didn’t know).

I don’t know about you, but I’m having a field day with Activision’s statement. They’ve basically opened the door to all kinds of ridicule from all kinds of sources. And since all the lawsuits have yet to be wrapped up… Well lets just say that Activision throwing around those kinds of statements isn’t exactly putting them in a good position.

Wew! Fun day!

I’m a buddy of Trez from over at Animebreaker. When I met him there his SN was Souchiro and that’s what I know him as so I’ll likely refer to him as such. As for myself, my SN is Verdeloth26, but you guys can all shorten it as you see fit. The most used names are Verd or Verdie, or you could simply call me Tyler (which is my real name), whichever is good for you.

As a profession, I’m a writer. Right now I write for Examiner.com as the Minneapolis Console Game Examiner. If you’re a fan of video games (and let’s face it, who isn’t these days ), check out my page. I keep it updated with some of the most interesting Nintendo/Xbox/Playstation related news that I can find. Expect to see a lot of videos and game updates, as well as a weekly schedule of releases. I also do game reviews when I can get my hands on a game quick enough.

So I hope you guys enjoy having me around. Sou will likely post more than me, but I’ll be sure to pop in and give my two cents worth when I have something to say. Also, you can follow me on Twitter if you can’t get enough of my sarcastic wit.

And with that, the site reconstruction is but a single step from completion. I’ll let Sou tell you more. Later!

I rather blog about everything I do on the net.
So me and a friend are about to get things poppin’ up in here again.
Keep watching.
I’m not dead yet….
Lets work!
